My DVD Drive is working fine when in BIOS but doesn't not show up in My Computer on Windows. It is there in the Device Manager but has a yellow triangle on it.

What I have tried till now -
- Uninstalled and Updated the driver from Device Manager
- Tried checking if the drive has not been assigned a letter.
- Tried installing IDE and ATA driver
- Tried reinstalling Intel Rapid Storage.

Solution
Reinstall chipset drivers, perhaps? Also odd that your CPU has the exclamation warnings. Maybe check OS integrity as well w/ SFC /scannow command.

The scan mentioned that it wasn't able to patch a few things. I am going to perform a clean install soon. That will probably set things right. Also a clean install is needed considering I'm using this for more than 8 months now.

OK. Sounds like a good plan since you have some files that cannot be corrected. Also, do you make System Images? I use the built-in creator within Windows periodically when I'm sure things are running correctly, ect. This way if I get a bad update or driver and the usual rollback or system restore doesn't fix correctly, I can revert back to an Image rather than a complete install from scratch.

That is one hell of tip. I can't believe I didn't know this. I use windows when it comes to games. Otherwise it's ubuntu for work purposes which I can fix if anything goes wrong.
