So I turned on my PC with no cooling measures because I'm an idiot and I'm sure I fried the CPU. I heard a sparking noise and there was a burning smell. However, I replaced the CPU and fitted it correctly yet there is no video output and the PC doesn't seem to boot, yet everything seems to be getting power. Have I damaged the motherboard as well as the CPU?
Fried CPU, but is there more damage?
