For the past 3 years, my backup rig running an AMD A10 6800k on an Asus A85XM-A had been running with no problems until today, when i pressed the power button, it no longer posts! I tried everything from the troubleshooting guide to no avail. The cpu fan would twitch a bit when i tried to press the power button, but nothing would happen after that. The motherboard's green power led would always come on though. I have done no overclocking whatsoever. Please reply quick. Thanks in advance!

press power button then fan spin for a second after that no spin anymore when pressing pwr button.
i suggest don't try to power on again with cpu plug in, the motherboard indicated have a short problem on VRM /phase it can damage cpu.
only with multimeter you can trace the short phase.

I had swapped my main rig's Seasonic S12 into it to no avail, so psu is not the problem
