Since i have my laptop my wifi randomly drops and then disappears, you can't connect on any device is not that i can't see it only my laptop and the wifi is there,it's not.I have to restart the router (by unplugging the adapter and plugging it back ) in order to work and even when i do that, sometimes the moment the internet comes back, it drops again it is soooo annoying.Any ideas how to fix it?

Time for a new router - - they start acting up (especially the wireless function) after a while unless you buy an expensive make like Billion or Draytek.

My Netgear router started losing WiFi ability, and same with the previous Netgear before that. They worked again after a restart but having to do that several times a week became tiresome & frustrating.

So I bought a Billion wall-mountable router, it was quite expensive but in two years I've only had to toggle it off/on once.
