I have an XFX 450W 80+ PSU and planning to use it with a Intel 2600K and a XFX R9 280X, but this power supply only have 1x 6-Pin PCI-e connector, and that GPU need an extra 8-pin to work.

SO I was thinking of buying an 2x Molex to 8-Pin adapter. Will it work fine?

it will work, but as Emerald said if your psu doesnt even have the proper connections for a powerful system, it is not high enough quality and you should probably get a new one. Even if it is high quality it is still not such a good idea to use molex for pcie power because it is not as clean.

So I'm looking for a new one then, do you guys think this one will be good for it? It's an EVGA 600w 80+ Bronze.

What about overclocking the GPU? I'm seeing some things about it here and I don't know if that PSU is gonna be a problem.
Also overclocking the CPU would be pushing too much of that power supply?
