Hi

A friend of mine asked me to upgrade her MacBook's hard drive and RAM. I recommended the following products:

Samsung SSD 850 Evo 500GB, Solid State Drive

Corsair CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9 Apple Mac 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1333Mhz CL9 Apple Certified SO-DIMM Kit

http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Certified-Laptop-Memory-CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9/dp/B006ON5KZC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461522576&sr=8-1&keywords=Corsair+CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9+Apple+Mac+16GB+%282x8GB%29+DDR3+1333Mhz+CL9+Apple+certified+SO-DIMM+Kit

Her notebook is a Macbook Pro Unibody Late 2008.
Would the hardware I selected work for her device?

Thanks for your help.

Best, G-Z

according to this page the system uses DDR3 ram, so that should work fine, and are you planning on putting the SSD in place of the hard drive, if so yes it looks good otherwise you would need more space to mount another drive and you would have to get a caddy that replaces the optical drive with a 2.5'' drive.
