windows wont boot first time

everytime i boot, the first time, it sticks at the windows logo, waited atleast 5 mins still no boot, i turn off and on again, windows diagnoses, says either restart or advanced option, i click restart and it boots in about 10 seconds like it used to, why does it do this?

Sounds like corrupt windows installation,or least possible ram error.

If its corrupt windows installation then a format and a clean windows install will fix it.

In theory windows can be corrupted by numerous reasons like programs that messed up with the registry,driver errors etc,but corrupt windows is one possible reason for your problem.Try fresh win install at first and then see how it went with your problem.

dont really want to have to reinstall everything, is there no other option?
