Windows 11 update brings advertisements to the start menu

8GB RAM installed but only 3GB usable!!!

Hello,I have 8GB of ram on my laptop and I have 32bit windows 7 but my computer says "8 GB (3 GB usable)" why is this? I am assuming it is because of 32bit version of windows!

Solution

Yes you need a 64 bit OS to use over 4 gb.
