Want to upgrade my rig need a bit of help

So its my birthday soon and I want to upgrade my pc here are my current specs:
-AMD FX 4300 PROCESSOR (QUAD CORE)
-8GB OF RAM
-AMD Radeon R7 250 GRAPHICS CARD
-COLOURFUL LIGHTS

So i was wondering what upgrades i would need to run a solid 60fps on open world games such as rust.

If you dont want to run ultra 1440p then the 960 would be a good choice as it wouldn't really be a bottleneck for your cpu. It would be a great choice for 1080p high settings at 55-65.

but if you want to spend a little less then this one is only 2 gb

You may also want to upgrade to a better CPU. The FX 6300/6350 would be a noticeable improvement and allow for less bottleneck with faster cards. But you will need a solid 500W PSU. No junk.
