My internet connection seems to be just fine. I can reach all websites, it does never seem to disconnect. The problem however shows when I need to establish a 'continuous' connection on a website or a game for example. When i try to watch a stream on twitch for example, I have no problem reaching the website and the stream, but after a short while it will just give me the 'loading' icon and I have to manually refresh the page to get it back up. The problem also shows when I try to play games like CSGO and League of Legends. When i try to play CSGO through faceit.com I have to queue up on their website and wait for a notification for a game to be ready. Most of the times i don't receive these notifications unless i manually refresh the page to establish a connection again. Similarly, when I try to play LoL, when I am in the lobby to select the champion i want to play, the timers will count down to 0 and freeze. This results in me not be able to pick a champion and dodge automatically. Strange enough, most of the time i can talk in the in-game chat window and notify the other players of my problem. When i actually get in a game, either CSGO or LoL, it works perfectly. Low ping, no disconnects, no trouble at all.

I hope you got a clear idea of the problem. Now I will try to explain what I've tried to fix this problem so far, without results.

The problem only exists on this desktop, laptops and other devices don't seem to have the same problem. The connection reaches my pc by a router and a switch but I don't think the problem lies there, because when I tested a direct connection from my router to the pc the problem still persisted. I've used other cables as well. Looking at the characteristics of the problem I highly doubt that it's a problem in the network itself so I've tried a whole lot of "fixes" on this pc. I've done some testing on packet loss which result in 0%. I've also changed my DNS settings from automatic to manual (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) to no success.

I really can't locate the source of this problem and I hope someone can help me.

Boot your computer and run the Task Manager.

See what services and processes are running. Do things as you normally do and watch the monitor. What you are looking for is some change that consumes resources, starts/stops, or some combination of occurances taking place while you are "waiting" to get in the game.

The screens can be overwhelming to look at and understand. Do not let that prevent you from going through the various tabs to see the information being presented. Will not take you long to notice possible causes.

Right clicking entries will present more details.

See what you can find.

The next step will be to look for errors or warnings via Event Viewer. Those errors may also be found using the "perfmon /rel"...

The next step will be to look for errors or warnings via Event Viewer. Those errors may also be found using the "perfmon /rel" command via the Run Window's (WIN key + R key) Open box. Normally errors present some screen message and code. There may be just some warning or information entry related to the loading delay.

You have lots of tools to investigate - may just take some time and attention. Take a look and post anything that seems unusual to you. I.e., some program running that you never installed or maybe even heard of. Something unique and specific to your computer.
