I wanna connect two samsung curved led monitors to one pc via two separate cables to my graphic card geoforce nivida gtx960. The problem is my pc won't detect my monitors unless i used hdmi cable. Any idea how to hook them up via dp cables?
What is your video cart gtx 960 from Nvidia or some other manufacturer that is important because we need to know what connection you have on the video card.
Kiril my graphic card is Nivida geoforce GTX960 its has three DP outpot and one hdmi outpot. I should mention that my motherbord provide one DP outpot as well. What's wrong with my connection or perhaps its software configuration?!!!
Yes count Mike my driver is updated and im running win7. In device manager the two monitors r detected but the monitor is giving me no signal msg with black background. However when i use my hdmi cable on each monitor separately they work fine
@Essamix when I 1st connect my monitor to my GPU it works only on my DP 1 port for some reason it not work on other ports even my driver was up to date. That video card should support to 4 monitors connect at same time. I assume you need cable like this w/o converters :

Thats a convertor for those who don't have DPmonitor or dont have dp on thier graphic card.
However, i read a post this morning about sth like ur bios dont recognize ur dp cable coz u need to connect ur hdmi cable and configure it to dp cable then restart ur pc or some sort i haven't read it thoroughly but it seems they know what r they doing i will try that when i get home
