PC wont boot after new gpu

Hello, I buy new GPU today Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC WINDFORCE and after installing it and put the 6 pin connector my PC is not post i hear a odd sound from it... with the old gpu works fine i updated bios. My old gpu is 512MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 5670 (Gigabyte) and works fine.

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6100 Six-Core Processor
RAM: FURY Memory Blue - 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz
MB: ASUS M5A97 PLUS

    PSU may not be powerful enough for the new graphics card, so system can't start.

    Just guessing because you've given no PSU details whatsoever.

  3. That's only 200w PSU (and a cheap generic one at that) - - nowhere near enough for a GTX 750 Ti

    GeForce recommends 300w PSU
  4. Update: as it's the Gigabyte version of the 750 Ti, Gigabyte recommends 400w PSU:

    Do yourself a favour and get a good quality brand - - Corsair or Seasonic.

    But for bot of the gpu's in the gigabyte website they say "recommended PSU 400W"

  7. And since you already knew it needs a 400w PSU, why the heck did you try running it on only a 200w PSU?

    That wasn't a very smart thing to do was it?

    I guess never think on it. Well i just try without the 6 pin cable and pc booted but its say to plug in the 6 pin... So i guess i will need new psu. Thanks
