Hello guys, Im a Newbie here and this is my first build....
Im in tight budget and Im choosing between 2 cards :
1.ZOTAC GTX 960 2GB AMP! (1 year warranty)
2.ASUS GTX 960 2GB Turbo (3 years warranty)
Im having trouble deciding between these 2 cards because they cost almost the same in my country. I'm leaning towards ASUS because it has 3 years of warranty and it's easier to claim compared to zotac. But one of my issue here is that I heard that the fan of ASUS GTX 960 Turbo is noisy and it's hot compared to other GTX 960 cards. Also, the build quality seems cheap because of the plastic material.
Here's my specs if neccessary:
-Intel i7 4790 non-K
-Gigabyte B85M DS3H
-Kingston HyperX 2x8GB DDR3
-550W Power Supply
-1 TB HDD
-Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
-Aerocool DS Cube White
Im using this build for casual gaming, but mostly for editing and rendering...and I don't plan to overclock.
So..here's a few things I want to know
-Should I get the zotac or the asus? or should i get GTX 950 with good fan instead?
-Will there be significant performance difference between these 2 brands?
-Is there any significant performance difference between GTX 960 and GTX 950 for editing?
