Logitech G230 replace ear pads?

l have a Logitech g230 headset and l really find the ear pads to be uncomfortable and was wondering if l could buy a pair of good ear pads and put them on the headset. If l were to do this would l be decreasing the sound performance in some way. Sadly l finding the g230 headset very uncomfortable and trying solutions to fix it and can only wear this headset for a few hours since its hurts my head and ears too much. If anyway can help it would really mean a lot.

How exactly is it causing you discomfort?
You can get replacement pads designed for the headset, or try to rig your own on there.
It shouldnt impact acoustics at all.

From using the headset in a couple of hours l get sore ears and my head hurts from the headset being really tight around my head and l have tried stretching them out and leaving them stretched for days but afterwards it just goes tight around my head once l start using them again

I dont see ear pads making much of a difference, however I had a similar experience with my G35s.
Due to their construction they tend to wear tight for quite a while, but they do ease out after some time. For now whenever you take them off keep them spread apart, they will eventually come around.
That being said, they do get lose once they get old, while they make solid products they arent up there in comfort, thats kingstons area.
