Hey Guys Need some opinions.

Solution
If its from a 'friend' I'd expect it for $300 maybe mate is what I mean , $380 is what its worth to a stranger on Craig's list (he was never ever going to get $500 for it in a million years)

2500k is a good CPU , its still up there for gaming no matter his old it is.
So yes drop a gtx 950 or similar in there & it'll game fine (with $200 you're good for a 380 just about which will just about push high settings)

Well Yeah i know the GPU needed to be updated thats not a prob
I have an extra $200 i may go check out the GTX 950.
But yeah I was just asking for the current build is it worth about $380.
I know I have to put some work in it but im currently on a HP with 8gb ram and the case is SO small lol so its nothing i can really upgrade on this pc besides the Case first!
GT 740 sc and a amd phenom 9600 x4 2.3 and running h1z1 on low with about
22-32 fps.

And you said not really, and then its is worth $380 lol
so wasnt really comprehending what you were telling me.
If I have the extra for the gpu is it a fairly good deal?
Atleast maybe play some of these new titles in medium?

Thanks for the quick replies earlier madmatt. So let me tell you what I ended up doing.
Instead of spending $380 on the other pc, i traded my R7 360 which i purchased a bit ago
for $65 used, and $200 cash for an older pc but i love tech so ill end up upgrading later when
funds look better, but back to topic. Here is the pc that I ended up with.

Cheaper for a reason though right, it only has..
MS 7693 G46 Mobo
Two 500GB HD's and One 60GB SSD
750W Psu
AMD Phenom x4 965 3.4GHz
8GB Memory
And it came with a GT 730.

But here is what im getting at, I saved $180
& went to cpu shop earlier & bought a EVGA GTX 960
for $200. Of course I need to invest in a new mobo
and processor and I will when over the next month or
so when my funds get a little better. But for now I only
play H1Z1 really and it runs on Ultra 50-60fps. I could only
imagine with a upgraded mobo and processor and ram what
it would be doing. They also gave me Tomb raider free with it
so that's a plus. So all in all I spent an extra $20 more than I
would if I had gotten the PC I listed above. Think I did the better
deal?

EDIT: Oh, i forgot to mention my case name.
Azza Hurricane 2000. Makes my 32in look small.
