So back in January I bought this 2x4 kit of corsair ddr4 ram. I have got some more money now and I want to upgrade to 16gb. If I buy the exact same kit again, am I going to have any (incompatibility) problems? I have this motherboard and an i5-6600k. Thanks!

Usually no problems and it'll work. That said since they are two different kits there is no 100% it'll work. You will have to ask the RAM god's for their favor.

There are no guarantees when mixing sets of DRAM, while DDR4 is more forgiving than DDR3 was, it can still be rather problematic, see my article items 2 and 6 here:

Also in response to Gumbob3, DDR2 is far different than DDR3 or DDR4 and was extremely easy to mix as most all was made to lower end standards, DDR3 and DDR4 seldom sticks to JEDEC standards
