is samsung coming out with a 1tb m.2 soon?

I am planning on updating my storage on my gaming pc. right now i have a 120 g ssd as my boot.. I really want to make the jump to m.2 pcie but dont want to take the dive for just 500 gig. would rather hold out for 1 tb if it is going to come out in q2 q3 or even q4 of this year.

Samsung hasn't announced anything. But odds are they are waiting to finish rolling out their new 48 layer V-NAND for that. They only started that a little while back.

Actually Samsung already has a 1TB M.2 PM951 NVMe drive. I have one in my Dell XPS 15. However it appears to only be available to OEM's at the present time. Dell will sell you one as a replacement part but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg, $1,198 was the quote I got a while back.
