I have been trying to research what I could but I havent had much luck, so keeping in mind im new to overclocking ( learning) what has a decent bios to learn with/OCs the best? :)

Dont see the reviews for the one you said,
heard about the hero it was one of the ones I was looking at along with the MSI M7,
I will take a look at the pro gamer, :). Since the motherboard is all I have left along with my 6700k to buy i wasnt sure whats a New to OC friendly board.

( i wont ever Overclock a graphics card again after I screwed up once on my old r9 300 series card), really need to find myself more guides, plus I probably wont need to OC my 980 ti

Yea I realized this, on my R series card I didnt really find much guides or info for AMD cards at the time and I ended up blue screening or my display would flicker so it was bad and a moment of idiocy. I found a really good video awhile ago that explained alot with after burner by upping power limit to max and just testing by small increments on memory till instability then core till instability :).

So for CPU overclocking what motherboard would you reccommend? Also quick question is my power supply good enough? Someone told me its a tier 2 but

Hmmm... guess I didn't post it. Anyways: http://www.techspot.com/bestof/motherboards/
and: http://www.techspot.com/products/motherboards/gigabyte-ga-z170x-gaming-7.121598/

And it's really easy to overclock safely. There is automatic overclocking, some built in presets, and a good Windows based OC utility.

I do a preset 4.4 ghz oc. Just set it and forget it.

So i think between the Gigabyte Gaming 7 and the asus Maximus hero VIII, i realized I have had too much bad luck with MSI products lol. and I dont mind paying a little extra. The only thing im worried about is how well the bios are set up for newcomers, if its easyy to learn no biggie :).

someone reccommended the asrock z170 extreme 7+ too but idk about tha tboard much

Yes, but most people having problems are inexperienced and the 'problems' in part are do to new chipset, new CPUs, new DRAM, new OS, etc. Many easily solved by a BIOS update that many are scared to do or don't even know about...and a big thing on the inexperienced, they are buying the Hero based on the earlier models and their popularity. The reviews by publications and web sites are all positive, but they tend to know what they are doing also, and do basics like get the latest BIOS and the latest mobo drivers ;) I worked on 4 seperate ones and not w whit of a problem with a diverse group of other components

Not overly, but it's nice to either have a basic knowledge and/or not be afraid to ask questions. I know I've helped a number of relatively new to computers folks get set up and running (OCed in a relatively few posts and post backs right here in the forums on numerous mobos from a variety of manufacturers. And the Hero is easier than many
