windows 7 system image

when making a system image using many dvd's, is it permissible to mix different types of dvd's. in other words, can you use a mixture of dvd+r along witht dvd-r and from different manufacturers. looks like a full set would be around 20 dvd's.

20 DVDs is just too impractical, imagine the inconvenience of keeping them all together, having to number each one in the right numerical order, then having to load 20 discs for image creation and restore - - a nightmare.

You'd find it much easier and more manageable using an external hard drive.

Something tells me these setup disks are fake, but another part hopes that someone actually did make a Windows 8 setup on 3711 floppies.
