Can Triple Buffering make a CPU Run Hotter?

I was playing Metro 2033 and when I was done playing, my CPU had reached a max of 61 Degrees celsius, this is the highest I have ever seen it go. I have an i5 4690k overclocked to 4.5Ghz with around 1.25V and a Noctua NHD15 Fan. I also had Triple buffering run as I played as well as VSYNC, Could this have something to do with it?

Just wondering if this is too high as well as If Triple Buffering and VSYNC Could be the culprits?

Solution
Triple buffering can reduce CPU load, actually, by capping framerates. I would expect lower temps, or no effect.

Regardless, 61c is absolutely nothing to worry about. Your CPU's max temperature is 100c, and although you don't want to be anywhere near that when overclocked and overvolted, 61c is a very safe, very conservative temperature. I wouldn't start to be concerned until it got into the 80's.
