Is the Intel Core i5 6300HQ good enough for what I want to do?

Things I want to do:
Game (Perhaps Black Ops 1-2 and maybe 3, Garry's Mod)
Record Gameplay (720p 30fps from Wii, PS3/PS4, and PC games)
I know that PC Games take a lot of CPU Power, and I'm tired of my AMD A8-5545m APU lagging behind all of a sudden. The PC is the DELL Inspiron i7559-12623BLK. I also use Movie Studio Platinum 13 to edit. I might add 8 more RAM to get 16 RAM. Here's the link to the Laptop.

Looks decent to me. The mobile 960 is a decent GPU - not as fast as its desktop counterparts, but very solidly midrange, and should run msot games at medium to high settings smoothly at 1080p. The 6300HQ shouldn't hold you back very much, and is a solid upgrade over the desktop A8.

You can probably do better for the same money in a desktop PC, but I think you'll be happy with that laptop.

Thanks. I choose a Laptop since I go between different houses and my Grandma's internet is way better. As long as this CPU can record PS4 and PC games at at least 720p, I'll be good.
