any suggestions?

Hey there, Mashari.

What 3rd party app? Check if the drive is recognized by Disk Management, and if it's not, check if it's recognized by the computer's BIOS/UEFI. Basically, since the drive was used with a console, it should be recognized by Disk Management and if this is the case, all you'll need to do in order to properly use it, is to reformat the drive. Here's how to open Disk Management: How to access Disk Management in Windows to manage hard drives.

It would be useful if you can post a screenshot of what you see in Disk Management (you can use imgur.com to upload the image).

Hope that helps.

I assume it's Disk 1, a 500GB drive?

If this is the case just click with the right-mouse button on each of those small partitions and select "Delete Volume...", to delete the partitions. Once the whole capacity of the drive has a black border and says "Unallocated" on it, just go ahead and follow the tutorial from this link on how to partition and format it: How to partition and format a hard drive on Windows and Mac OSX
