I just shifted to desktop from PC. And till now I worked on window 7 only
For my basic use,net surfing ,watching movie, downloading, occasionally Photoshop, video editing that's all.
So is there any difference I would feel if I install window 10 ??

Really it's "when should I" as sooner or later it will happen, in saying that I did it straight away and only regretted it for a short while l.

There is some noticeable changes over 7 and 8 and I like win 10 ( only after a lot of personalization though). It took me a while to get used to the difference like right click start button for old stay menu, left click for new ect.
As with any os change its takes getting used to and knowing what settings you don't want, win 10 is kinda invasive to some with the amount it likes to sync by default for cortana and notifications but that can be switched off pretty fast, though it reactivates when you try to use those features ( even accidently)

Like @jock1092 said, there're some changes in the interface, but it doesn't take that long to get used to them, especially if a) you're comfortable using PCs, & b) you've been through interface changes before (i.e. switching from 3.1 to 98, from 98 to XP, from XP to 7, all of which I've done).

I would recommend that, if you want to upgrade, you do so within the next month of so. IIRC, the timeframe during which Microsoft is offering the upgrade for free runs out this summer. Plus, the major update that they're planning for this summer will only be available "for free" to those that already have Windows 10 installed.

Believe me, nobody - and I mean NOBODY - can tell you if you're going to be happy with Win 10 vis-a-vis your Win 7 OS. It's simply a crapshoot and you just have to work with the new OS for a reasonable period of time and make your own decision.

Fortunately you can "have your cake & eat it too". Get yourself another HDD (or SSD) if you haven't already got a spare one lying around and clone your present Win 7 OS to that "destination" HDD. (You can obtain a free disk-cloning program on the net - try the Macrium Reflect Free program if you haven't worked with a d-c program before).

So now you can use your clone of your Win 7 OS and upgrade it to Win 10. Work with the clone and determine whether Win 10 is for you. You'll still have your Win 7 system to fall back to should you decide Win 10 is not for you. And you can either retain the cloned disk with the Win 10 OS or use the disk for other purposes, e.g., storage/backup, etc. if that's what you ultimately decide.
