I'm looking to upgrade my GTX 560 to Sapphire R9 390 Nitro. I know that I would need to change my PSU to 850 W from 550 W the only thing I'm concerned about is will Sapphire R9 390 Nitro fit on to my motherboard. I'm currently using MSI z68a-g43 (g3)

I wonder where you got the suggestion for 850W's of power...?

Your motherboard:

will accept the GPU without an issue though in hindsight, what CPU are you running? You should keep that point in mind since the that will be your primary bottleneck. Be sure to pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals.

Hey!

Sorry for the late answer. I actually changed my mind and am planning on buying the new AMD RX 480.

My specs currently are: (if you need any more specs, i can look into it more)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM: Vengeance® — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
O.S.: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit
PSU: 550W
What I am planning on upgrading:
GPU: AMD RX 480
PSU: Will 750W be enough?

I forgot to ask about the motherboard. My current computer case is really small and it will also need to be changed, I was thinking of buying Cooler Master K350, but I don't know if my motherboard will fit in it? I'm using this one: Z68A-G43 (G3)

Alright, thanks for helping me out man. Also the one last question is how strong power supply will I need to run the computer mainly gaming. Will 750W be enough or too much?

Hey! I was looking into some PSUs and found this one EVGA SuperNOVA 750w B2 BRONZE SEMI MODULAR 80+ PSU. It's also stated on tier 2 list on tomshardware tier list forum. I like this PSU because it's not too expenisve and it's still EVGA with +80 Bronze thingy. What do you think about it?
