I recently bought a new computer, and I purchased a refurbished Corsair GS700 PSU. When I turned on the computer, the PSU fan got quite loud even when idle. At one point, the whole thing shut down and I smelled something burning. It was the PSU, so I know I have to replace that. My only worry is that it took the motherboard with it because the 24 pin connector is very difficult to remove (I think it melted to the MB). Should I just return the whole thing or start with my PSU?
