So I built this computer maybe 6-7 months ago, it has the Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 gaming in it and also the Gigabyte Z97x Gaming 7 motherboard, when I plug HDMI into the slot on the gpu my monitor goes blue and says "HDMI no signal" and goes black.. Same with he DVI port... It's plugged into the HDMI 1 slot and the monitor is on the HDMI 1 "profile" but it doesn't work. The GPU's fans are spinning and the LED is on. What gives? Can someone help? I bought it from Amazon and It should have warranty still right? Do I need to contact gigabyte and get a new one? Will this cost me any money? hopefully i'm posting in the right section idk what i'm doing i'm kinda stressing right now because this is a near $700 issue.

Was it working before?
If so what has changed?

See if your monitor will work when using the integrated graphics and the motherboard hdmi port.

Has your hdmi cable been possibly damaged?

Your graphics card should still be under warranty. If you determine that your card is at fault, contact gigabyte customer support for assistance or a RMA.

Nothing has changed, but recently the screen has been turning black randomly for a few seconds, it can't be my hdmi because I found a new one and used it and same issue, also same issue with DVI cord. I can use the HDMI port on the motherboard but I get really really low fps. like 5 fps in GTA V, 30 fps in minecraft and 15 in cs:go. I think gigabyte support opens up in 30 minutes I tried calling this morning and last night.

Since integrated graphics functions properly, you can rule out the monitor and hdmi cable, leaving the graphics card.

I am interested to know how well Gigabyte support treats you.
They did not respond to me when I inquired about repairing an out of warranty GTX780.
