Hello! I need help with this error. I opened a game to play with my friend, but suddenly, the monitor went blank and this message pops up: "No video input". I could still hear the voice of my friend on Skype and he could hear me. I could also hear the in-game music. This never happened before. I tested the cable connection and everything was fine. Also tried another monitor and still the same error pops up. The computer is new and I don't think this should happen. It's not custom built either. Its from Asus (RoG series). I can not try other cable connections since I only have HDMI and not VGA from my graphics card. I don't want get another Graphics Card, but I could contact Asus for this. Do you know if there is something else I am missing? If I don't open up any game of any kind the computer is just fine. Thanks in advance.
PC specs: GTX 960 2gb, i7 6600 3.40 Ghz, 8gb ram, 120 gb ssd and 1 tb hdd. That is all I know.

Hi,
It sounds that either the graphics cable or their connectors or the card.
HDMI is just a broken hart, if You have the possibility to switch to a DVI-cable instead, just for try?

Unless You must use HDMI for sound transfer, I would say avoid it and use the Display-Port instead or otherwise DVI.

If it is not the cable, it could in the worst case scenario be Your graphics card.

Thank you for your answer! I am starting to think it is my graphics processor because I changed the hdmi cable with others and tried switching the ports even on multiple monitors. I did not try VGA though because I don't have a VGA port on the PC. What seems more weird is that I tried switching the processor from the gtx to the CPU to play games. I had the same sad ending. I probably didnt apply the settings because I was very mad and oh well...

I am going to get a professional to look in the PC to check the wiring and stuff like that.

Regards from Romania! :p

Do you have the possibility to change the card first?
The thing is when You are playing the stress and workload, temperature etc. will increase tremendously for the graphic card, and therefor all the possible things that can be the problem will also increase.

With normal workload such as surfing the internet you most certainly will not detect any problem.

I do not think I am stressing it. I am not playing games like GTA V or stuff like that. I play games like Trine or Unturned. It never uses more than 10% of its full potential.
