is this a decent power supply ?

Hello guys,

Is this a decent power supply unit: evga 120-G1-0750-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 750; I'm going be using it to power my gtx 980 ti and 6600k. I was going get a 650w but people told me it be cutting close, so i'm going with a 750w instead.

Gold is just an efficiency rating, it does not mean the unit is quality. In particular, the 750 NEX G does not do very well with voltage stability. It does have 100% Japanese capacitors which is a good thing, but the voltage stability is not good. It's average, to say the least. The 650 NEX G is much worse.

so, should I get a 650w G2 or pay extra and get 750W one. Getting gold or bronze doesn't mean It will last longer?
