Return GTX 970?

Hi, I bought an MSI Gaming GTX 970 that arrived yesterday, as an upgrade for my R9 270X. However I just heard about AMD's Polaris announcement. Is the upgrade sufficient or should I return the 970 while I can? Bear in mind that I'm gaming on 1080p.

You can't buy a Polaris based card until sometime probably near the end of summer. And at that point you could just continue to wait for the next new thing. There is always a new thing only a few months away. But, you can't game on vapor.

At 1080p, I haven't seen any games yet that the 970 didn't do extremely well in. Don't worry about what you can't buy. Solve for your current situation and have fun.
