I have just bought one USB 2.0 Mediatek Ralink chip wifi adapter 802.11bgn with antenna from Ebay. The signal is 72Mbps and not 150 Mbps as said in the packaging.
I have checked the that AP mode force, PSP Xlink mode and Roaming sensitivity are off. The Local Mac Network Address is not present.
Link quality is 100% (beside modem) and signal strength -17dbm.
My modem has no speed limitation function and it is 3T3R 300 Mbps 802.11abgn

Could it be this USB adapter is a 1T1R and the maximum 72Mbps? Anywhere to adjust because I could not find in Mediatek app to adjust.

If I buy another same USB wifi adapter, will my speed double up?

Solution
"Interfere" as in causing a resource conflict in Windows, not interfere in the wireless sense.

Both adapters would be wanting to use the same system resources, same IRQs & same memory address.
Neither of them would work under those circumstances, and Windows would be unstable.

Trust me, you just can't use two WiFi adapters on the same PC, Pooneil has already told you that.

Even if you could get Windows to use two without any problems, the benefits of doing so would be absolutely zilch.

Well, not interfere, but they may share the same or similar types of drivers which may cause some issues in windows
