I got this computer 2 years ago and i used to run league of legends(the most intensive game i play, on medium low quality) at about 40-50 fps in the most crazy of moments. But now i'm seeing that it starts at around 60, and then drops down to 20 fps in basic team fights. I've tried updating drivers and cleaning out my fans. It's not custom made. Here are my specs.
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03933829
It's an HP pavilion 500 desktop, the one in the link above.
Sorry if that's not the information that's good enough to solve this problem.
The only ones i know how to find myself are
8 gig RAM
WIndows 10
Radeon R5 graphics(came with computer when i bought it)
Any help will be appreciated. I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Most games like that become more demanding over time unfortunately it may be just this. Without having both operating systems to test, it is hard to say for sure.

If you monitor your video card usage(with something like MSI Afterburner or even GPU-z's sensors tab) and it is maxed out most of the time, chances are it is giving all it can and simply can not keep up with the current game or its settings.

In these cases turning down some settings can help.

Games with many players also place more load on the cpu this can lead to the cpu not keeping up and the video card load falls. Systems are about balance for sure.

I have not found large differences from Windows 7 to 10, but I do not play that many games anymore.

I can tell you the...

your best bet would be to get a quicker computer, but if you dont have the cash available a cpu upgrade would be the best option (highest your pc supports is an A10 6800K)

That's an option. I just don't know what caused this problem in the first place.

the game has come a long way in 2 years, the devs have to cater for all types of hardware and along the way some times performance decreases on lower end platforms

If the performance has slowly dropped it could be game updates that became more demanding.

It never hurts to ensure that your heatsinks are not too dusty since heat can cause issues.

I have to ask did the performance change before or after getting Windows 10. I just want to rule that out as being an issue.

I'm not totally sure, i've only really been bothered by it to this extent recently. I suppose it's always a possibility.

I can tell you the game City of Heroes would get slower with every large game update(upgraded computers multiple times while playing that game). Even at the end of my playtime, that game was still listing impossible requirements.

Your system is entry-mid level from release(pretty good for onboard video at the time) so the game may simply be getting to be too much.
