let's try to define what "good stuff" should be:

a. affordable, around 1,000 usd or so
b. efficient, under 500 w or so
c. contemporary, using latest components
d. relevant, should last 5 yr or so

with the above in mind, here is a build advise:

15,000 CPU: Core i5 6400 skylake cpu (or any 6XXXX that you can get within the budget)
08,000 Mob: H170 LGA 1151 from AsRock/MSI/Gigabyte
08,000 RAM: 8 gb X 2 = 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR 4 from GSkill/Corsair
30,000 GPU: Dvidia GTX 970 from Asus/Gigabyte/MSI
08,000 SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB SATA III / mSata boot drive
05,000 Case: Corsair CArbide 300R/Cooler Master N500 mid-tower case
06,000 Case acc:
24x DVD R/W from LG/any (1,000);
Extra case fans from cooler master (1,000);
80plus bronze certified psu from corsair (cx series)/antec (VS/VP series)(3,000)
NZXT sentry mesh fan controller
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
80,000 half-life's contemporary cpu
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes
- For CPU, i3 is also a good choice, and saves around 8k
- For Mobo, B150 is also fine, saves you around 2k
- For RAM, 4 GB X 2 = 8 GB is also fine, saves around 2k
- The GPU is your biggest single expense, and you don't want to buy something that goes obsolete anytime soon
- For the SSD, 120 GB is also fine, saves you around 3k; but you will need a secondary HDD for data storage
- For case, you can consider antec series or corsair spec series, saves around 2k
- For wattage needs, use below calculator
http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/
- you do not need any custom cpu coolers

let me know your thoughts

Hey thanks there..those are nice suggestions but i will stick to I5 6600k and z170 mobo for overclocking in future as i never did it before.
But m confused which z170 mobo should i buy i have been reading bad reviews of z170 mobos in every site so i finally selected Asus[It was having less issues which can be fixed].

Also m not gonna spend too much money on gfx as i need to play games even low quality is fine so thats y sticking to gtx 960 4gb gfx. My choice is Asus gtx 960 Strix 4gb ddr5 [Rs. 20000]
Now m worried about PSU,cabinet and cpu cooler as m putting too much money on Processor,Motherboarda nd Graphic card. Are they good enough or i have to change them?? Please suggest.

ok in that case,

a. it is better you get cpu cooler like cm 212 evo or similar
b. asus is great but in india it is both expensive to purchase and repair; I would suggest gigabyte or asrock ones, but it is personal preference
c. gtx 960 is fine too, and go with asus strix one
d. your cabinet is terrible and will short circuit the whole rig, get a better one
e. psu MUST be of good quality, get a 80+ bronze at least from corsair/antec/cooler master

good luck, looks like you don't need much of inputs anyway

I just want to add, the GTX 960 4GB version isn't powerful enough to use the whole 4GB RAM in games. It is meant for SLI-ing 2 of them together. You wont see any performance difference between the 2GB and the 4GB version, the only difference is price. If you want a better GPU, I would recommend a GTX 970 (unless you plan to SLI 2 of those 4GB GTX960's).

A I said in my post, I recommend a GTX 970. A 500+ Watt power supply with at least an 80+ Bronze rating will work fine.

I recommend this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card ($289.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $359.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

as a general practice, i don't shop for expensive items online, due to genuineness, damages, warranty, etc., issues.

i encourage you to shop in stores so that you at least have a face to a shop that you can return to when there is a problem.

Some of these components have 10 years to life time warranties, but it is such a pain when they do not honor it just because you shopped online.

The AMD equivalent of the GTX 970 would be the R9 290X, but I recommend Nvidia. I'm not a fanboy, but the Nvidia cards are much better as they don't have as many issues as the AMD cards. Nvidia also uses less power and generates less heat. Alot of games are designed to run on the Nvidia cards. You can also get free games with most Nvidia graphics cards.
