I've recently started my first build (so please bear in mind I know very little about what I'm doing), using a NZXT Phantom 530 case. I recently bought an FZ-200 LED fan to replace the 200mm fan already in the bottom front of the case, so I get a sort of front lighting. Now, the case comes with some kinda little fan controller chip on the back of the case (by the 2.5" SSD bay), but the fan not only has a connector (which I think I can hook up to that) but also a LED on/off switch. Now, I don't really know how to hook this up...Obviously I screw the fan in and hook the fan up to the fan controller, but WTH do I do with the fan on/off switch? Where do I hook the other end up to, and more simply, where do I put it? I don't mind the LED being on all the time when my rig is switched on, so is there any way to bypass the switch altogether and just have it hooked up to the main LED I/O switch on the top of the case? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

Read through this review towards the end, you'll understand how to hook it up.

* One end of the switch goes tot eh fan while the second one is left open ended but can hook up to another 200mm FZ LED fan should you want to control the LED's.

If you'd like to have the LED's on permanently then you can bridge the gap meant for the LED's with a short length of wire though I wouldn't advise you do that being a novice builder. Too many things can go wrong.
