hey,
I live in on the third floor of an apartment building sharing the internet with my brother who lives one floor below me and too the right. He has the modem and wireless router. As of now i have my Netgear WNA3100 dangling out the window to get within range. Im thinking of upgrading but not sure what to get, internal or external wifi card/Dongle. at the moment im getting around 200-400kb/s (the fastest i have seen it is around 800kb/s) where my brother gets around 1.5mb/s. How can i increase the speed. I mainly download and stream but i like to play some online games as well. how do i get better speeds and less drops outs.
i was looking at getting a Netgear A6210 AC1200 for around $50-ish, would this be good or an internal card. i live in Australia if that matters.
also open to other suggestions.
