hey,

i'm looking to buy a graphics card which will play HD movies in 'HD' and not look pixelated and grainy. i owned a 'palit hd 4850' and i must say that it was one of the best graphics card i've ever owned but unfortunately it conked off. i replaced it with the 'zotac gt 730 2gb ddr5' but the hd quality was horrible especially while watching hd movies and watching videos in youtube in hd quality. overall, images and movies always looked pixelated and grainy and the display quality sucked and it was not even close to the palit hd 4850.

i have a 400w smps and i really need a graphics card similar to the palit hd 4850 but one that will fit in my budget of under $75-100.

please help.

If you're only watching movies in 1080p, a GT 610 or GT 620 would work perfectly with the PSU you have.

If the pixelation started with the new graphics card, than that's what is causing it. NOT the CPU like some people are saying.

thank you for your reply. i'll definitely check out the gtx 750i but could you recommend an ati card option too?

yes i did. in fact, i reinstalled windows and then installed the drivers but unfortunately the display quality was pretty bad.

legonate416, that's exactly what i've been thinking. i had the same config with a palit hd 4850 and everything worked brilliantly but the gt 730 just didn't match up and i don't even game. so i'm still confused as to which card to go for now.

Even running it on integrated graphics (intel HD 2500) should work about the same as a GT 610, if you do in fact have the i5 3330. I would suggest trying that first before paying $40+ for a graphics card you might not even need.
