Hello, all!

I am planning to build a new budget yet powerful PC in India. My budget is Rs.70,000/-. I have been reading a lot since more than a month now. And now, I am confused as to what to buy and what not to.

My current list has got following things:
- Processor:
Intel Core i5 6600k 6th Generation

- Motherboard:
Gigabyte Z170-D3H

- RAM:
8gb DDR4 Corsair Vengeance

- SSD:
240gb Kingston

- HDD:
2TB WD SATA

- Graphic (NVIDIA):
MSI GTX 750 Ti 2gb DDR5 OC Edition Dual Fan

- Cooling Fan:
Cooler Master Hyper 212x

- PSU:
Cooler Master ATX 500W SMPS

- Display:
Dell 2216H LED Monitor

Now the problem is, this is going above Rs.70,000/-.

Can somebody help me build a good budget and powerful rig?

My main purpose is Graphic Design, Web Design and Motion Designing. But since I have a budget of Rs.70,000/-, I don't mind building a good beast. May be I'll hook to gaming also.

I would love to get the latest hardware currently available in the market and shouldn't be a problem in using for the next half decade or so.

Thanks!

Change the PSU to a seasonic. In your country, that is your best option, for a quality unit. SSD I would change to Crucial, sandisk Ultra II, or samsung. Kingston SSD's are not known for their reliability. Deepcool Gammaxx 400 is a bit better, and a bit cheaper, than that Hyper 212.

1. PSU of how many watts? Is 500 okay?

2. Deepcool Gammaxx 400 is expensive compared to Hyper 212x.
Deepcool Gammaxx 400 = Rs.5038/- or ~75$
Hyper 212x = Rs.3450/- or ~50$

3. Same is the case with SSD. But for good SSD, I don't mind shelling out a few more.
What do you think about Crucial BX100 250gb?

Also, if you could suggest some downgrade, what would it be? I am bit tight on budget here and don't want to go beyond Rs.70,000/- or ~1050$. Thing is, hardware parts are pricier here India than in USA.

This sounds like a good option since I won't be OCing and not much into gaming. But again, how future-proof is it?

1. PSU of how many watts? Is 500 okay? yes grab the s12ii 520w version

2. Deepcool Gammaxx 400 is expensive compared to Hyper 212x.
Deepcool Gammaxx 400 = Rs.5038/- or ~75$
Hyper 212x = Rs.3450/- or ~50$ keep the hyper 212

3. Same is the case with SSD. But for good SSD, I don't mind shelling out a few more.
What do you think about Crucial BX100 250gb? grab the bx 200 if possible

garb the 6500 with a gtx 960 is better than a 6600 with a 750 ti, way more fps

This is why you need to shop around for parts. Getting everything from one place is never a good idea, for budget reasons.
