hey guys!
I have another question.
I want to have a SSD for booting up, and also to store a few games such as DCS:World, on it. But, I would still like my storage to be my HDD. How can I configure my PC such that SSD is used for Boot up, and HDD is used for storage.
Also, if I buy buy a SSD which is compatible with SATA 3 port, but If I have a SATA 2 port, will the SSD still work at all, maybe not that efficiently, but will it work at all?????
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

Yes, your SSD SATA 2 ports will work just fine with a SATA 3 drive. It just wont work as fast as if could if it was on SATA 3.

As for your hard drive being your storage drive. The easiest thing would be to create directories on the HDD (Documents, Music, Video, etc). Then Once they're created, go in to the libraries in Windows Explorer (File Explorer in Win10), right click on the Library (say Documents in this instance), go down in to properties and select the Location tab. From there you can point it to the new directory you created on the HDD and it'll use that as your default location.

Its simple, when you install windows choose the ssd for the installation. After that there is not special configuration just to save any file you want on the hdd.Its pretty simple. Also the ssd will work just fine with the sata 2 and will be much faster compared to any hdd.
