Need your suggestion as to whether increase the CPU core or change whole set starting with MB.
My System Spec is as below:
Asus M2N68 AM+ MB
4 GB DDR2 RAM
AMD Sempron single core Processor
Samsung 850 EVO SSD 250 GB
NVIDIA n210 Graphics 1 GB
450 W PSU
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Even after the upgrade of SSD, system hangs most of the times and i suspect the processor(single core) is not able to cope up. So i'm thinking of upgrading the Processor to AMD Phenom II (can't find much available options with AM3 slot support).
But I'm in a dilemma whether to get new CPU or change the whole set as this MB is also outdated and go for new model Motherboards with DDR3,USB 3.0,multiple PCI 16x ports,Wi-Fi,..so on.. and support for Intel Processors (As AMD lags so behind Intel now).
Please help me.
