I just bought a new Creative headset (non-usb). I was using a USB headset before and it worked fine. This new one using the headphone jack cuts out for about 2 seconds every 20 to 30 seconds. My motherboard is gigabyte ga-z170-hd3p using Windows 10. I installed the audio drivers from gigabyte. Has anyone else had this issue?

Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your audio equipment? Since you're on Windows 10, have you disabled automatic device driver updates prior to uninstalling and reinstalling your audio drivers?

You should also make sure that your BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date. You can try installing your drivers in an elevated command:
Right click installer>Run as Administrator
or in compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Tab>Windows 7/8 [from drop down menu]

It seems to only happen when playing Rocket League now. I have watched videos on Youtube and talked to friends on GameVox and played other games. All seemed to be ok. If it is just rocket league, I may just deal with it.
