A family member recently gave me a new Asus gtx 980 ti OC and since I have never Built a computer before I need some advice on a build. I'm trying to make it to where I don't have upgrade for a few years

I asked a couple of friends and this is what they recommended.

My max budget is $2000 but I want to keep it as close to $1500 as possible.

went with the 5820k instead of the 6700k because I believe that the extra CPU power will be better in multi-GPU uses (like here), as well as it being better for DX12, as soon as games that use it come out.

After looking this over I thinking of going with this but is the Case big enough? I have no real preference on the looks if you have a different one you recommend?

if you need a bigger case I would go for this one:

the build with the case:

Solution
This is for gaming at at 1440P or 4K I presume? If so, I would just go with the single GPU for now. When Pascal comes out, I would sell the GTX 980ti and replace it with the single Pascal GPU of your choice. I see no advantage of going with the slightly slower 6 core 5820K unless you doing a lot of video editing.

The Cryorig H7 would not price out, so I assigned it a price of $40. That is enough PSU even if you do decide to SLI. I got you some faster memory for gaming, still at 1.2V.

After looking at reviews for this motherboard, Could you recommend another one of similar pricing?

Oh it's a very nice MB. Did you check the reviews at Amazon too? Sometimes early MB problems are solved with BIOS updates. It's really the same MB as the Z170_PRO that you picked, but with more rear USB ports and better audio. You could go with the Asus Pro model that you selected or one of these Gigabytes (but I like the Asus ones a little bit better):
