First of all, I checked almost all previous questions related to audio problems. None of them worked so I decided to create an account and ask. Three days ago my PSU died (Corsair CX600) so I decided to buy a new one (Seasonic M12II 620W). I connected everything and when I turned on the PC, I had no audio. My speakers are buzzing.
I'm going to save all of us a little of your time telling you what I DID:
*Do the speakers work? Yeah, I plugged my cellphone and they do work.
*Did you uninstalled/reinstalled the latest Realtek Drivers? Yeah, I did it like 5 times.
*Does the front panel work? Nope.
*Do the USB in the rear and front panel work? Yes, they do.
*In the motherboard, are you sure you connected everything ok? I'd like to think so. Into the bottom portion of the motherboard I connected the HD AUDIO into the pins, not the AC97.
*Did you check up the BIOS? I have UEFI BIOS and entered in a section called Advanced Peripherals or something like that. Made sure that the things related to audio were enabled. I made a few changes to see what happened, but nothing. In the end, I changed everything back.
*Did you try to connect the HDMI in your GPU to a TV or something? Not yet. After I post this, I'm going to try that.
*I did check the playback section and tried all of them. Nothing happened. As you can see the audio is "working" (sorry, I have the OS in Spanish) http://
With all that being said, here are my specs:
Processor : AMD FX 6100 3.3 Ghz Black Edition.
GPU : AMD XFX 7850 2 GB GDDR5 Core Edition.
Motherboard : Asus M5A97 PRO.
Memory : 16GB (8GB x 2) Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
HD : Western Digital Black Edition 1TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB.
PSU : Seasonic M12II 620W-
Case : Mtek F-117 Nighthawk.
OS: Windows 10 Pro.
Hope somebody can help me
