Hello everyone.

So i pretty much completed my build today with a new case and a stronger PSU to be future proof or atleast somewhat, since i plan to get SLI 1080's when the time comes. Today i installed my new evga supernova g2 750w psu and when i booted up the screen had red flickering all over. So I figured it might be the graphics card that made this happen and I took it out, and reinstalled it and the flickering stopped. But my question is now can my PSU be the cause of this? The reason im asking is that when I recieved my psu today it seemed to have been opened at some point and I took contact to my supplier and told them where they afterwards agreed to give a price reduction. Ofcause if this by ANY chance could have been The cause of the psu i will return it.

Your psu is a very good one with a 10 year warranty.
I might suspect that a power lead to the graphics card was not fully inserted at each end or possibly damaged.
Examine the cables carefully.
If you see damage, you could exchange the psu.
Or, considering that you will have more cables than you need you could ignore the issue.
Monitor the situation.
If, down the road you have a problem, you still have the warranty and can rma the psu.

I believe I found the problem. One of the VGA cables had a defect and was coming loose, So i got an even greater price reduction and sorted it out this way.
