What should I backup from a dying C: drive?

Hello,
My c: drive is dying, and I'm trying to save what possible. Except of the obvious "Downloads" and "Documents", are there any other important folders I should save?
For example, Steam keeps some game save at different locations - where should I look for it?

Thanks

You should have everything you need in your documents folder, everything in downloads should be re-downloadable......That said, you should already have done this backup, often times it is too late.

If you have any external or network storage, a windows image is a good way to keep everything, and rebuild quickly, although i find it nice to start fresh now and again.
