I currently have the Logitech g710+ there's nothing wrong with it love the keyboard I've been using it for about a year but I really don't have any use for the number pad and my desk isn't really big so I was going to buy another keyboard and give this to a friend

I'm looking for one around 70-80 US dollars preferably with cherry my blues and that dosent have the number pad on the side so I can save room when playing

The keyboards I saw that peeks my interest are

You're essentially looking for TKL versions of keyboard's which are known as TenKey Less boards. You will be hard pressed to find out Razer products although with much bling factor lack QC and in essence the necessary build quality. They also don't use Cherry MX switches but a cheaper Kailh switch and apparently they also have a switch that they've created in house - all of which aren't as good as a Cherry grade switch.

The Coolermaster on the other hand is with Cherry MX Blue switches so that should be up your alley. Speaking of alley, I'm not sure where you've read that you'd need blue switches but for gaming purposes you're required to go for Cherry MX red switches due to the actuation force and non tactile bump. Depending on the game you play, you'd probably need the new Cherry Grey switches.

In the world of mechanical key switches Cherry MX Blues are meant for the typist or rather they are known as the typists's switches.

i have a roccat ryos mk pro mx black [you can get mx blue, brown, red or black] and it's great.
it might be a bit over your preferred budget but its absolutely a dream to type and play on, my wpm increased by 30 as soon as i touched it, and im not even used to it yet.

it looks nice, the wrist rest is comfortable, and you can raise it which actually, coming from someone who used to have a flat keyboard, is really useful.

here's the full name, tenkeyless and full keyboard.

roccat ryos mk pro mx [you choose on the amazon/ebay page, i found it cheaper on amazon]
and the tenkeyless is just the same name with TKL at the end

the full keyboard version comes with 5 extra programmable keys, and both keyboards can have every key reprogrammed to do something else, multiple keys at once [so D could be A, then B, then C].
each key can also have a secondary function by holding down the easy shift key, which replaces the caps lock [you can change it back to caps lock on the software you get with the keyboard]

the keyboard also has per key illumination, so you can make part of the keyboard light up to indicate your health bar on a game, and you can also have the ripple effect on keys, so when you click a key it sends a lighting wave throughout the whole keyboard, and there's a bunch more features, just google it and check out reviews. well worth the money. im using it to answer your post right now.

Oh also, there are 3 buttons on the wrist rest that you can program on both the tkl and full keyboard of the roccat ryos mk pro, they're quite convenient for quick actions in a game when you can't get away from WASD or QWER, whatever you're playing.
Also, the cherry mx black ones seem fine, i originally wanted browns but these are great, im getting 120 wpm with them!

it may seem online that Paul from wherever thinks that mx blacks are bad, but from what i've read mx blacks are nothing like what i've seen online, they're sensitive and nice to type on.
also, keep in mind blues are clacky and noisy as heck. if you use skype and dont have a noise cancelling headset mic you're friends will hate you.
