Witcher 3: Any way to install Steam DLC to a GoG Galaxy game?

So for a gift my brother game me a Witcher 3 season pass on Steam. The problem is that my copy of W3 is a retail copy, which is managed by GoG Galaxy. Is there any way to transfer the DLC from Steam to GoG?

Solution
I also own the Witcher 3 on GOG. I just checked the Steam Store page and they have the words "This content requires the base game Witcher 3 on Steam in order to play" highlighted in purple.

Just out of curiosity I added it to my cart and tried to check out. When I got to the last part before confirming my payment method I got this message.

"Your transaction failed because you are trying to buy 'Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Expansion Pass' which requires ownership of 'The Witcher® 3: Wild Hunt'. Please correct the error and try again."

That being said The Witcher 3 is a DRM free game. If you are able to download the files from Steam I'm not sure why they couldn't be used with the GOG version of the game as long as you install them to the...

Well, the refund would presumably have to go back to my brother, which could be a bit awkward. I'll pursue that if no one else has any ideas. I may write to CDPR support and see if there's some way to extract the keys from Steam.

The issue is whether there is any way to download the DLC from Steam without owning the game through Steam.

There is another option but it's a moral grey area. You could always get the DLC installation files from a friend or the internet since it's a DRM free game. Normally I would never recommend doing anything like this but since you legally own the DLC on Steam and can't use it I think this is a special circumstance.

There is no way you are going to get a GOG season pass key from Steam though. Obviously the smoothest option would be to get a refund from Steam and then use the money to buy the season pass from GOG.

The only thing I can think of is that the same checks are NOT in place when a game or DLC is bought as a gift, especially if the recipient doesn't have a Steam account. My brother gifted the season pass to me last Christmas, and I'm just now getting around to trying to figure out what to do with it. One thing I noticed is that when I look at the season pass in my Steam inventory, it does say that it's "tradeable". Could I trade it in for, say, an XCom 2 season pass?

I know that the Witcher 3 is DRM-free but I was hoping to do it completely above board, and to avoid downloading nastyware and not have any issues with updates/patches.

If it's that old you weren't going to be able to get a refund anyways. Steam only allows them in the first 14 days.

If you are able to find someone willing to trade you something you can actually use that is what I would do.
