Not sure what Linksys device to buy

Hello,
I am currently in need of a Linksys device that supports the captive portal function. I don't want to spend a lot of money on one as I do not need it to work in a large building, only in a single room. Having the captive portal feature is an absolute must, and if there are no cheaper devices available that support this, is there a way I could flash linksys firmware from a device that supports the captive portal onto the device that doesn't?

Running user verification on your network? Nice. Unfortunately your choices are going to be limited, but because of this feature, it will be more expensive.

To answer your question about flashing firmware, the answer is no, because the radios are different.

But judging from ratings, this one is going to be your best bet.
