Hey guys, so basically I've had this card for a while now, haven't been running it as it had problems, but I was trying to see what's up. So I went in and cleaned out the cooler, applied thermal paste, and got way better temps, thank god for that problem being solved.

However, the issue remains that I am not getting the performance I should be.

Warthunder refuses to run with the card on benchmark, claims not enough VRAM, however I'm not even going over 900mb of 2G available. It crashed on ARMA 2 & 3, however runs furmark, just performs worse than my OC'd 560ti. Litterally, have the 660 max oc and still being outperformed by the mild oc on the 560ti.

Can't figure out why the computer is actually crashing, or rather the graphics card, as there is no damage or anything to the card, nor is there any cooling issue. Is there a suggestion to fix this?

My specs:

No reason for it to be performing this poorly, aside from death I think.. but I'm hoping.

Solution
Try this,
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

To be honest, it sounds like either a major driver issue, or a hardware failure. For the driver issue, I recommend completely uninstalling the drivers, running off of onboard video, and installing everything as if you JUST bought the card.
