Ok so I have the NZXT s340 and Kraken x61 CPU cooler.

I will be mounting the radiator and fans on the front of the case as intake and I am a bit confused as to how the x61 fans will operate as both my front intake for my case and as CPU cooling fans.

Don't the x61 fans speed up or slow down depending on the CPU temp? But at the same time, a cases front intake fans would ideally be running at a high constant speed no?

Am I correct to plug in the x61 fans into the CPU_FAN1 connection on the motherboard? Or should I plug them into a CASE_FAN connection?

As you can see I am not exactly sure what to do in this scenario. Do I manually set the x61 fans to run at a high constant though the use of a software? If so, do I use the NZXT software or do I set the CPU fan speed though the UEFI?

Thanks!

Correct, that should be it for the setup. You can hook the rear and top case fans(if you choose to populate them) to your motherboard's fan connectors. The CPU fan header will take care of fan RPM's as the temps rise and drop. You could however set a custom fan curve using the CAM software provided by NZXT.

Likewsie you can set a profile in your BIOS, if it has the option, to maintain a particular temp on your CPU via a custom fan curve, set it on a default setting or leave it as it.
