building a new PC on budget, but can i reuse safety this old parts in my new build?

Greetings friends, i need some advice and knowledge to clear my doubts, so i'm planing to build a new PC, but has i am on a budget, first of all i need to know what parts of my old PC can i safety reuse.
soo this are the parts that i was planing to reuse, a 22 inch monitor from acer (5ms) bought on june of 2010, a keyboard combo logitech MX 5000, an 2 HDD seagate sata2-500GB.
what i want to know is, for example, can an old monitor do some damage to the graphics card? or can a old usb receiver do any possible damage to the mobo if burns out, and if i can use this sata2 just for saving data without messing with other sata3 speed, i try google this information, but with no luck :(, my idea is just to win some time with this parts and spend all the budget on better parts, i can always later in 4 or 6 months buy my monitor, and a really good keyboard. thanks.

You can reuse old parts as long as your new motherboard supports those old parts. So if you can plug it into your motherboard you should be fine. Using a sata 2 drive should not affect the speeds of your sata 3 drives.

Using an old monitor, etc. should not break anything unless the old part was already broken. A new mobo isn't going to "fix" a broken part, so if you already know that Monitor or USB receiver to be bad, then maybe don't plug it into your new PC. But if they are working fine, then they should keep working fine without problem.

on mb each sata port is it on port not like ide drive where there a master and salve drives. with sata and usb there both backwards compatible. so a usb 2.0 wil lwork fine in the newer usb 3.0 port. same for the slower sata drives. if your going from windows 7 to 10. to save yourself some pain. use the windows media creation tool an a 8g usb stick to make a new windows 10 boot usb stick. boot from the new stick and use your windows 7 key to register windows 10. most new mb there chipset are so new windows 7 does not have the drivers for them and wont see any drives if you do a clean boot from windows 7 instal disk. you have to install the intel chipset drivers with older windows 7. windows 10 has the newer drivers in the iso image.

Hi "Bitwright" and thank's for the help, and both parts are working perfecty well, the monitor and keyboard are being using right now on this writting, but if you don't mind that, i ask just one last question?... for example, i know that my usb receiver is working fine, but for the old that is, must have some deterioration, and one day or other will stop working, if does..., can this do any damage? and once again thank you

Hi "Smorizio" and thank's for your help, and yes i indeed going from windows 7 to windows 10, but my windows 7 is 32bit, and i want to go to W10-64bit, can i still using the same method? my windows is an retail version.

yes you can as long as you go from windows 7 home to windows 10 home or windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro the new windows media creation tool asks if you need 32 or 64 bit when you download the new iso. can use windows 7 key to activate windows 10 64 bit. also send email to microsoft support they should be able for a small fee send you windows 7 64 bit disk or windows 10. at one point they did let users if they got 32 or 64 bit of the os the other install disk.
