My 280 GB ext4 partition isn't showing up in Windows 7. All that happens is Windows sees the partition exists, but that's it. It has Linux Mint on it, but I want to make it a storage partition....because I broke grub (the linux bootloader). And I really want access to my files. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance :).

ext4 is not readable by windows without adding software. Check this article -- http://www.howtogeek.com/112888/3-ways-to-access-your-linux-partitions-from-windows/ for options to add to windows. I would recommend that you get whatever data off the disk and reformat it to NTFS if you want to use it exclusively for Windows.
